Where we make your leather garment to measure in Paris

We are asked this often, and it deserves a clear answer. Paris has several kinds of leather addresses, and they do not all practise the same trade. Bespoke tailors work on suits and shirts, in cloth. Customisation workshops adjust the colour or lining of an existing model, without ever touching the pattern.

Our trade is another. We are a couture leather house. We design the garment, we cut it and we assemble it on our own patterns, in a material we develop ourselves.

We welcome you at 38 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore, in the 8th arrondissement, Monday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm. This is where we take your measurements, present the hides and arrange your fittings. Seeing the material, folding it, trying it with arms raised changes a decision. Leather asks for this, always, before we commit to a single cut.

Your pieces are then developed and made in our workshops in Paris and in the provinces. This proximity between design and manufacture is what allows us to hold the consistency between drawing, cutting and assembly.

The pieces we make to measure

We also produce special orders, which may involve exotic skins. We work them in strict compliance with the CITES Convention, with the traceability that requires.

We work lambskins from the French and Spanish Pyrenees, chosen for the fineness and regularity of their grain, and for their ability to become supple without losing any of their hold. Tanning is carried out in France, in the Graulhet region, a historic centre of French tanning. That is what allows us to control colour depth and the quality of the handfeel.

We cut by hand, piece by piece. Our cutter recognises colour variations, reads the direction of the hide and anticipates how it will react to movement. This stage determines the accuracy of the finished garment, more even than the stitching.

Leather does not forgive approximation. Unlike cloth, it cannot be taken back in, and every stitch leaves a permanent mark. That is why we never compress the taking of measurements or the intermediate fitting. It is a requirement, not a delay.
