Where we make your leather garment to measure in Paris

We are asked this often, and it deserves a clear answer.

We are a couture leather house. We design the garment, we cut it and we assemble it on our own patterns, in a material we develop ourselves.

We welcome you at 38 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore, in the 8th arrondissement, Monday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm, without appointment. This is where we take your measurements, present the hides and arrange your fittings. Seeing the material, folding it, trying it with arms raised changes a decision. Leather asks for this, always, before we commit to a single cut.

Your pieces are then cut and assembled by hand in our Paris workshop. This proximity between design and manufacture is what allows us to hold the consistency between drawing, cutting and assembly.

The pieces we make to measure

Made-to-measure applies to our entire wardrobe, for women and for men.

The leather jacket and blouson are the requests that reach us most often. They are also the pieces where fit shows most, because everything comes down to shoulder width, sleeve length and ease across the back. A jacket cut too close restricts the gesture, one cut too wide erases the line. That is precisely what taking measurements corrects.

Leather trousers call for a different kind of precision, where the rise and the inseam govern the whole silhouette. Our stretch leather comes into its own here, following movement without the cut losing its shape.

The dress, the skirt and the jumpsuit follow the same logic. These are pieces worn very close to the body, where a few millimetres decide how they fall.

We also produce special orders, which may involve exotic skins. We work them in strict compliance with the CITES Convention, with the traceability that requires.

Our leather accessories exist, but they accompany the wardrobe, they are not its heart.

What our craft commits to

Made-to-measure leather only means something if the material and the hand follow.

We work lambskins from the French and Spanish Pyrenees, chosen for the fineness and regularity of their grain, and for their ability to become supple without losing any of their hold. Tanning is carried out in France, in the Graulhet region, a historic centre of French tanning. That is what allows us to control colour depth and the quality of the handfeel.

We cut by hand, piece by piece. Our cutter recognises colour variations, reads the direction of the hide and anticipates how it will react to movement. This stage determines the accuracy of the finished garment, more even than the stitching.

Leather does not forgive approximation. Unlike cloth, it cannot be taken back in, and every stitch leaves a permanent mark. That is why we never compress the taking of measurements or, for an exceptional piece, the toile fitting. It is a requirement, not a delay.

Our commitment extends to the fit. You have fourteen days after delivery to tell us about an adjustment, the piece then returns to the workshop until it hangs right, with alterations and shipping at our expense. If any doubt remains, we issue a credit note valid for two years.
