A made-to-measure jumpsuit does not begin with a tape measure. It begins with a conversation. What you want to wear, for which occasion, with which allure. It is this exchange, more than the order itself, that makes the House’s made-to-measure service an experience of its own, from the first message to the day the piece hangs exactly right.

It all starts with an exchange

You write to us about the jumpsuit that caught your eye and what you would like to change. A leg length, another colour, another skin, or a piece built entirely to your measurements. We reply, and we prepare a personalised basket that you validate once everything suits you.

You prefer to meet in person? The boutique at 38 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré welcomes you without appointment, Monday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm. Coming to Paris is a pleasure, not a condition.

One contact, from the first message to delivery

At Jitrois, a made-to-measure order is never left to a form. Your sales advisor remains your contact from the measurements to delivery. They are your link with the workshop, and with the head of the workshop when the piece goes through a toile. Each order is followed by four hands, and you always know who to turn to.

Choosing your jumpsuit, together

The first advice is often about the line. Our wardrobe of stretch leather jumpsuits offers very different characters, and the choice comes from talking about how you will wear it.

  • The Faye, convertible, with its detachable bolero, for a piece that moves from day to evening.
  • The F1, zipped, the most graphic, with a leg gathered at the ankle.
  • The Kill, the iconic one, in black or red.
  • The Kristen, with long sleeves or sleeveless.
  • The Clemence, which combines leather and stretch suede.
  • The Poppy, which pairs stretch lambskin with mesh.

For men, the Kill, the Kristen and the M1 carry the same writing. A special order also lets you have a model remade in another of the House’s skins, another colour or other metal finishings.

Your measurements, in the boutique or at home

In the boutique, we take your measurements ourselves. Remotely, we guide you through taking them at home. A soft tape measure, close-fitting clothes, and someone beside you, because a measurement taken by two people is more accurate. Remember to tell us the heel height you will wear with the jumpsuit, it is built for a silhouette as it is worn, not for a size chart.

When the piece calls for particular precision, we send you the workshop’s full measurement sheet, each measurement explained with a photo. We may also ask for one front photo and one side photo, without the face. They are deleted when your order is closed, unless you would like us to keep them.

When the piece goes through a toile

For an exceptional piece or a precious skin, the workshop first builds a toile, a prototype to your dimensions. It travels to you. You try it on at home, pin it yourself or with the help of a seamstress, then send it back with a few photos and your comments. Your advisor passes them on to the workshop, which reworks the pattern before the skin is cut.

For a jumpsuit in stretch leather, a pattern drawn from your measurements is usually enough, the material then following the body by itself. That is the whole spirit of leather couture, which applies the standards of haute couture to leather.

After delivery, our commitment continues

A made-to-measure piece is built for your silhouette and for it alone. In return, our commitment is complete. You have fourteen days after delivery to tell us about an adjustment. The jumpsuit then returns to the workshop until the fit is right, with alterations and shipping at our expense. If any doubt remains, we issue a credit note valid for two years.

And then, wearing it

A stretch leather jumpsuit stands on its own. A heel to lengthen the leg, a jacket placed over the shoulders in the evening, and the silhouette is complete. To compose an all-leather look, see our guide to the women’s all-leather look, and for made to measure across the rest of the wardrobe, our page on made-to-measure leather clothing in Paris.
